Click for a map of the gardens In researching the history of the inn, mention is made of the beautiful Victorian gardens which offered a burst of colour
at all times on the 4 acre property between the Spring and Fall. Work began in 1995 to reestablish Victorian style gardens. Jill Robinson, a landscape designer from Halifax, has been working with the Lacebys enhancing and nurturing the established gardens as well as developing new gardens. A terraced vegetable garden was constructed in 1996. It provides the dining room with fresh unique salad greens, beans, tomatoes and peppers. 1999 saw the construction of the pond gardens.
The Lupin Hill was maturing by 2001. A second bridge was added in 2002. 2003 will see the completion of our horseshoe composter.
